We spoke in church today.
The topic was families.
Davis gave his first sacrament talk.  He did a good job.  We didn't think he would do it but he stood up and blurted out, "I love my family!"

Next Chase spoke.  His talk went like this:
"All families are special, but I think mine is the best.  We all love each other and have fun together.  When I say my prayers I thank Heavenly Father for my family.  We should tell our families that we love them.  We should all work together so we can be a family forever."

Abby and Lacey were the youth speakers.  We then had an intermediate hymn and LaVor and I were the concluding speakers.  I spoke before LaVor and so by the time it got to him he didn't have enough time to even open up his talk.  This happens to him everytime we speak and so the next time we do speak I think we will have him go first!! But he gave a beautiful testimony of family nontheless.  I will include everyone's talk in subsequent blogs (because to do it all in one is way to long).

It was a good sacrament meeting and the spirit was strong.
And hopefully we won't have to talk in church for awhile!!
