The ChristmasTrain

Another festive activity we did during Christmas time was to ride the Christmas Train.

The train is located at Dry Gulch, Oklahoma about an hour north east of Tulsa...at a camp site.
We loaded up and drove and arrived around 6 pm.

Not the best picture of me...but oh well...

The night was really quite cold so it was good we bundled up.
We went straight to the train and got in line.
The actual train ride was a bit different than what we were expecting.
We all thought it would be kinda like 'The Polar Express'....but
it turned out to be a ride where you looked out the windows and rode by big signs depicting
the Christmas story. It is done by a church called 'The Life Church' and so it was a bit different but still good.

Afterwards we went to a restaurant and had a BBQ dinner.  Again it was okay...not the best but it filled us up.

After dinner we rode the carousel and then Sam, Abby, Lexi and Dayton headed for home.

The rest of us enjoyed a hayride and the boys rode a little train and got to see Santa.

It was a fun evening.
