The Adams

So glad that the Adams were able to come to Tulsa for the wedding and pictures. Carly delivered Olive just 3 weeks earlier! We were a little worried especailly since Baby Olive got sick with pneumonia right before they came! In fact the doctor would have hospitalized her if Carly wasn't such an experienced mom!!

I love when older siblings are so excited for a baby.  Such love...it is a wonder that such loved babies survive! 

Mike and Carly blessed baby Olive in our home the Saturday after the wedding (actually it was the same day this picture was taken).  What a special time and all of  the Haynies were there.  We love this new little precious addition to our family.

Carly, Avery, Pierson and Olive stayed for about 10 more days.  Avery is such a sweetheart.  She loves her Papa and Nuna and we sure do love her.  Pierson is a riot!!  Carly repeatedly said that she can handle Avery and Olive...it is Pierson that gives her a run for her money...and I agree!  We sure do love this little guy! Olive will change so much the next time I get to see her but how fun it was to hold and snuggle with a newborn.  There is nothing like it and I will never tire of the smell of a baby head!  Olive was such a trouper for being only 3 weeks old and flying clear across the country.  She hardly ever cried and would love to be held and talked to...in fact Aunt Lacey got the first smile from her!

It was wonderful to have the Adams with us and we only wish they weren't a whole continent away!! (anyway it seems like a whole continent)
